It looks like at least some of the Daytona crew will be attending the tournament.  I know that I’m looking forward to a day of Warmachine.  One question is how you will be scoring captured zones.  I keep reading online that you can score points for a zone on your turn and on the opponents turn instead of how in the last tournament you only scored a point on your own turn.  Doesn’t really mater to me which way is used, I would just like to know ahead of time which one.

Thunzor, can you point out which scenario has the wording in question? I thought it was fairly clear, but double checking is double better! Idea The guy responsible for SR2010 (hacksaw) is really good about answering questions of intent.

As pointed out in Miami, its worth noting that your alternate list must include an alternate 'caster. Its not mandatory that you play your alternate.

Lastly, I'm not sure if I'm going to TO this event or not. I enjoy (trying) to make the trains run on time, but I do like playing. I've always felt it a little inappropriate when a PG jumps into their own LGS' tournament and goes hogwild (I'm gonna git you, Poncho!), tries to make rules calls, scenario calls or just give random opinions (hes looking at you, EG Evil). I'll respect ya'lls opinion on this.

I personally want you to play, so I can beat you (again) without claims of "demo game".

And who would run it?

Personally, I’ve never had a problem of someone playing in a tournament that they are running as long as someone else is appointed to make rule calls in any game that the organizer is playing in (that’s what the store I use to work at did).  I think that it would be great for you to play......unles your going to play Menoth  Grin

either army will not stand up to a SNEEZE of khador.  i fear our new book has only made us BIGGER, ANGRIER, and MORE PUNCHY.

you will go home with many a wound for your mama to kiss.

sir.

EDIT:

that is, IF i had gotten that day off as i had requested.  as it is, if you are feeling like a frozen yogurt that you make yourself and is checked out by a white kid with a mexican name, you may come after the tournament is over.

 Wall Wall Wall
Wil from Daytona here.  After looking forward to playing in this tournament for over a month, it looks like I’m not going to be able to make it down tomorrow.  I’ve had to put a new engine into my truck this week (it went boom on Monday) and I have just not been able to finish the job.  There is a long shot that I’ll be able to swing coming but most likely not (need to have this thing running by Monday).   Man, I wish I could make it and play (after this week I could use a relaxing day of gameing)
